We will be ready and prepared to keep us all safe.
We are re-opening from 8th July 2020 and will be following Government and Public Health England guidelines and andy and all health and safety advice. We have undertaken a risk assessment to ensure both the safety of our guests and ourselves and our community. Cleanliness and hygiene will be our number one priority, with robust cleaning regimes in the bedrooms, bathrooms and all common areas in the house. All cleaning materials will be up to BSEN1276 standard or as specified by the above authorities.
Due to the additional time needed for deep cleaning we are unable to be flexible with our check in and check out times. Therefore, check in between 16.00 and 18.00 and check out at 10.00 must be adhered to. If you do find you are going to arrive later than 18.00 please let us know so that we are aware of where everyone is.
We will be running 3 hand sanitisation stations. One outside the front door for guests to use upon arrival and when they leave the property at any time; one in the hallway next to the kitchen plus one on the yellowwood table on the first floor landing which should be used by the guests on that landing or guests on the top floor on their way up or down. There will be safety signage reminders in the common areas, dining rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms for hand sanitisation, social distancing and washing hands.
Individually wrapped soap and disposable amenities will still be provided in the rooms. Unfortunately we have had to remove items such as cushions, throws, boxes of tissues, curtain tiebacks, cotton wool etc. but David has upped his homemade goodies production to compensate; individually packaged and placed in your room on the day of your arrival. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements in advance.
Until further notice, we can only accept card payments.
Breakfast service will be arranged so that social distancing can be maintained whilst still providing our a la carte breakfast. In the event of good weather, breakfast can be served outside where our large garden provides more than adequate space on the two patios to accommodate social distancing. A one way flow will be introduced inside the house and guests must allow the guest(s) ahead to clear the landings and stairs to avoid "log jams". David and I will be there to guide you to one of the 2 dining rooms or out on to the patio if the weather is good and you would prefer to sit outside. This is all new to us too so we ask that you be patient if breakfast service is a little slower than normal. We have reduced the menu somewhat and it is now on a laminated A4 sheet but hopefully breakfast will be as enjoyable as ever. We have also had to remove the posh stuff and supply condiments in single use disposable sachets.
The local pubs and restaurants are running a booking only system so it will be worth your while to give them a call, obtain the relevant information and book in advance.
Whilst you are out and about we will maintain thorough cleaning procedures, liaising with guests upon arrival as to the frequency required. Guidance will be provided on laminated sheets in your room - we are trying not to make it too much like boarding school.
Although have had to reduce or withdraw some of our amenities , we will endeavour to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. Please contact us if you have any concerns or need more information about our procedures. We are here to help y0u as much as we can.
IF YOU ARE SHOWING ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 SUCH AS A CONTINUOUS COUGH, HIGH TEMPERATURE, LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL WE ASK YOU NOT COME TO US. WE WILL HAPPILY DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE YOU WITH ALTERNATIVE DATES. THERE WILL BE NO CANCELLATION CHARGE BUT WE DO ASK THAT YOU LET US KNOW YOU ARE UNABLE TO TAKE UP YOUR RESERVATION BECAUSE YOU ARE SELF ISOLATING.

Langleigh Guest House is set in a beautiful 3/4 acre garden, with views overlooking the splendid Sterridge Valley.
All our rooms are en-suite. There are 3 comfortable doubles, one superking (also available as a twin upon request) and a family suite comprising a double, a single with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower over bath.
